Where’s your favourite outside area at Pynes House?
This is a tricky one. The tree-lined drive gives you the first glimpses of Pynes House with its famous stags and what a special place it is. Everyone loves that first impression. There is also a wonderfully peaceful woodland area which is perfect for a quiet walk and has a very special atmosphere. However, the terraces next to the house are probably our favourite outside area as they provide the perfect spot for drinks overlooking the valley.
Can couples stay at Pynes House?
Absolutely. This is the best way to get the full experience at Pynes House. There is nothing to compare to the feeling of anticipation on Friday afternoon when guests begin to arrive. On Saturday morning, there is a real buzz around the house when everyone is getting ready for the big event. We hire the house to couples on an exclusive basis, which means they get to play host for their own country house party.
